A Daily Practice

Integrating Meditation into our Life

June 1, 8, 15, 22, 29

An intellectual understanding of spiritual teachings is not enough to solve our problems. We need to abandon harmful actions because these are the cause of suffering, engage in beneficial actions because they are the cause of happiness, and learn to control our delusions. We can learn to integrate Buddha's teachings into our everyday life through sincerely practicing faith, consideration, non-attachment, non-hatred and effort.

On the third Sunday of each month we have a potluck social at 11:30 after the class. Bring a vegetarian dish to share.
