Geshe Kelsang GyatsoSpiritual Director - Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso is a fully accomplished meditation master and internationally revered teacher of Buddhism. Born in Tibet, he ordained as a Buddhist monk when he was 8 years old and engaged in 38 years of study and meditation retreat.

Geshe-la, as he is affectionately called by his students, moved to the West in 1977 and has dedicated his life to making the wisdom of Buddha easily applicable to busy modern life. He has established over 1,000 Kadampa Buddhist Centers and branches around the world and written 19 highly acclaimed books.

Resident Teacher - Kelsang Jindak

Kelsang Jindak is a western buddhist nun, and resident teacher at the Olympia Mahayana Buddhist Center. She is a stainless example of how to practice Kadampa Buddhism in the modern world. Through her teachings, Kelsang Jindak shows us how to find peace and happiness in our daily lives.

Kelsang Jindak is a close disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and has been studying with him for many years..
