The Illusion of Loneliness
Saturday, February 11 10:00am - 1:00pm
With Western Buddhist nun Kelsang Tsoglam
We often feel ourselves to be isolated individuals and experience loneliness. We yearn to feel a sense of connection with others. Buddha taught that this perception of ourself as separate from others is an illusion. In truth we are all naturally and profoundly interconnected. By learning to understand and feel this connection we reduce our feelings of isolation and separation, allowing authentic love for others to arise. By relating to others on the basis of this wisdom we transform our outlook on life, heal our relationships, and lay the foundation for universal love, which is the key to solving not only our own problems, but those of our world as well.
